Give Thanks To the Lord,
For he has been good.

Give thanks to the Lord,
for he has been good.
Give thanks to the Lord,
For he has been good!
Give thanks to the Lord for he has been good to you.

Likely yo’ll clearly hear the words come out as the music plays along, but thought I’d put them in anyway. Obviously there are so many words that can be used to expound the thought. But that’s the point here, for now anyway. To meditate. To have one thought, and carry it. To think on how it is that the Lord has been good to me. To see his hand of blessing even when it feels like torture. To see the world screaming around you and realize the Lord is actually working something pretty great out. To lose your job and realize you still ate today. Or that you still have a family that will hug you and welcome you in.
Give thanks to the Lord for he has been good.

Psalm 107:1. Psalm 118:1, 29 (twice in one psalm!). Psalm 136:1. Psalm 100:4-5 (different… but not really). Psalm 106:1, a little more excitement now. Psalm 103:1-5 – Don’t forget his benefits. He has been good.
